“As a party, we have more MPs of Islamic faith than either the Conservatives or Lib Dems put together, and we are soon to have a lot more, with our fantastic Parliamentary Candidates like Tulip Siddiq, Rupa Huq, Azhar Ali who are standing for election next year. We also have more women MPs and ethnic minority MPs than ever before but we need to do even better.

“It was great to welcome so many friends and supporters of the Labour Party, Muslim and non-Muslim, to Labour Party Head Quarters to celebrate Eid ul Adha together. Eid Mubarrak.”
