Sadiq celebrates First Touch garden opening

Sadiq joined St Matthews Primary School, Wandsworth Mayor, BBC presenter Sophie Raworth, and St George's CEO Miles Scott to celebrate the opening of the First Touch garden, along with five First Touch graduates, outside St George's Hospital.

Sadiq Khan MP said:

“First Touch is such an inspirational local charity, and one that I know means a lot to people in Wandsworth. The money they raise plays a vital role in supporting the work of St George’s neo-natal unit in babies in need of huge amounts of care and support.

“It was an honour to be a part of the opening of the garden, and to see the Chelsea Flower show recreated just outside St George’s Hospital, to be enjoyed by patients and staff of all ages. The students of St Matthews Primary School did a brilliant job opening the service and it was great to see so many First Touch graduates there to celebrate the opening of the garden, reminding guests of the invaluable work First Touch helps to support.”
