Re-open date secured for the Triangle centre!

“After months of urging Wandsworth Council to reopen the centre on Emmanuel Road, near Tooting Common, Wandsworth Council have finally announced when it will reopen. The centre closed last November for the installation of flood defences and refurbishment, and was scheduled to reopen in April. Since then the work has been continually delayed, leaving parents and children without this much-valued service.

“Last month I joined local councillors Rosena Allin-Khan and Fleur Anderson, and local parents, to call on the council to quit delaying and give parents a date for when the club will reopen (more information here).  Today, I am pleased to report that the Triangle will reopen on Tuesday 22nd July. Whilst this is some four months later than was promised, I’m sure the news will be welcomed by local families. Please do share the news.”
