BATCA Community Fun Day 13th September

Now in its eighth year, this extremely popular local event brings together all local communities and cultures to provide a day of fun for all ages.  Last year over 4000 people attended the Fun Day and attendance at this year’s event, located in Broadwater Road, Tooting, is expected to be even greater.

Attractions will include food from around the world, a clown, fairground rides, traditional sideshows, penalty shoot outs, creative arts, free NHS health checks for over 40s, craft stalls, farm animals, a fire engine and much more.

Sadiq Khan, MP for Tooting, the Mayor of Wandsworth and senior faith leaders will attend.

Sadiq Khan MP says: "The annual Balham and Tooting Community Association Fun Day has firmly established itself as the key event in bringing together our local community and raising money for many great local causes... I'm proud to have been part of the Fun Day, because it underpins what is decent about not just our local community here in Tooting, but our fantastic city and country."

The event is jointly organised by BATCA (Balham and Tooting Community Association), Gatton Muslim Primary School and St Augustine’s Church. All funds raised will go towards two projects at St George’s Hospital.
